Landscape Technician III

What This Role Is All About
As a Landscape Technician III, you’ll play a key role in installing ornamental shade trees, evergreen trees, perennials and more throughout the Upper Midwest. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that takes pride in doing great work and as we grow, so can you!
You’ll help bring landscape plans to life with care and skill, and your contributions will be valued every step of the way. This role is a great platform to build toward future leadership opportunities within our company.
Primary Job Summary
Safely and efficiently complete tasks associated with landscape installation
Assist in planting and installing trees as part of project crews
Work with teammates to meet daily goals and deliver high-quality results
Learn on the job and take on new responsibilities as you grow
Pay, Benefits & Schedule
Pay: Starting at $25 per hour
Overtime: Typically expected most weeks — amount varies based on season and workload
Benefits (after onboarding period): Health Insurance, PTO, Holiday Pay, Profit Sharing
Seasonal Work Period: Approximately 9 months per year (March through November/December) with overtime during peak season. Possibility for some winter work based upon the seasonal needs of Hoffman and McNamara.
*Prevailing wage pay is offered on some landscape jobs*
This role includes some overnight travel (some years more, some less).
· Company-paid accommodations & Per diem provided
Back from out of town for each Saturday and Sunday
Required Qualifications
· Has or has the willingness to obtain a Class A driver’s license prior to employment
· Independent, self-motivated, and able to work well with others
Reliable transportation to and from job sites
Ability to lift 60+ pounds regularly
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in agriculture, horticulture, or similar fields
Experience operating tractors, skid steers, and small engines
Bilingual in English and Spanish encouraged
